Steve Anthony Arnold, 59, of Orange passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, at his residence.

Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at Cowboy Church in Orange with the Rev. Dale Lee, officiating.

Born in Freeport, on Sept. 10, 1952, Steve was the son of Bert and Juanita (Fowler) Arnold. He worked at Briggs Equipment for 19 years and for 13 years he worked at M & E Equipment. Steve loved to fish and BBQ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sheila Arnold; brothers, Mark Arnold and Johnny Arnold; and granddaughter, Brittney Nykole Tumlinson.

Steve is survived by his wife of 11 years, Carolyn Sue Arnold; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Brandy Arnold of Freeport; daughter, Amanda Kaye Tumlinson of Angleton; son, Nathan Arnold of Angleton; and step-daughters, Ila Johnson of Mauriceville, Ida White Robledo and husband, David of Orange, and Carla Fay Brown and husband, Raymond of Bridge City.

He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, James Edward Arnold and wife, Pat of Clute, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 504 ST. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
