Morris R. Hearnsberger, 77, of Vidor, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont.

A native of Hawkins, TX., he has lived in Vidor for 10 years, and was retired from the oil and gas industry. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at First United Methodist Church of Vidor.

Morris was preceded in death by his daughters, Sanda Meaux and Susan Daily; brothers, Pete and Richard Hearnsberger; sister, Mary Foulch; nephews, David and Paul Hearnsberger; nieces, Susan Aldersen and Pattye Gray.

He is survived by his wife, Mattie Hearnsberger of Vidor; five grandchildren: Anthony, Aran, and Stevie Meaux, Rachel Ingram and her husband, Chris, and Tony Daily; five great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Betty Hearnsberger.
