Faye Doris Brackens 68 died Jan. 18, at Baptist Beaumont Hospital in Beaumont, after a short illness.

Mrs. Brackens was a native of Hemphill, and resided in Orange, for many years. She was member of the El Bethel Baptist Church in Orange.

Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at St. James Missionary Baptist Church located at 801 Border street in Orange, with Pastor Hardy Oneal officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00am until time of service.

Interment to follow at Hollywood Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Memorial Chapel.

She leaves to cheish her precious memories two sons, Jason D. Brackens Sr. of Houston, and James L. Brackens Jr. of Orange; one daughter, Yolanda Ledet of Houston.

She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, a great grandchild, and a host of family and friends.
