An Orange woman woke up Wednesday morning to find tools and stereo equipment missing from her garage.

The woman told officer Veronica Woodle that she went to bed the previous evening at about 6:30, and when she got up the next morning, she observed the theft of the tools, which were valued at approximately $750.

The garage is attached to the house, which is in the 300 block of Bridal Wreath, but has no door.

The victim also said that she had put some clothes in her dryer, which is enclosed in the garage. When she went out after finding her tools gone, she found the laundry room door opened, and all her laundry out of the dryer.

An Alpine car stereo and amplifier were missing; both were sitting on a shelf inside the laundry room. The stereo was valued at $300, and the amplifier at $200.
