Jimmy Cormier, 70, of Orange, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5 at the Kindred Hospital in Baytown. Graveside services to remember his life will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8 at the Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange with the Rev. David Milner officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Wednesday at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange.

Jimmy was born on Sept. 6, 1941 in Lafayette, La to Beatrice Melancon, he was a lifelong resident of Southeast Texas, and he enjoyed the simple things in life.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his mother and step father, Beatrice and Ellis Hilliard and his brother, Donat Melancon.

Jimmy is survived by his brother, Allen Hilliard and wife, Linda of Orange, and numerous members of his extended family.
