The Rev. Allie Ray Dougharty, 73 of Mauriceville, formally of Pitkin, LA., went to be with the Lord on March 2.

He served for many years as Pastor of Mauriceville United Pentecostal Church until his retirement. Recently he had served as assistant pastor to the Reverend. Leo Anderson of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Orange.

Reverend Dougharty was born May 20, 1938 in Mittie LA. to his parents, Allie Dan Dougharty and Lillie Velma Smith.

He was the loving husband of 55 years to his wife, Connie Louise Dougharty; father to Allen (Debbie) Dougharty of Pitkin, Alvin Dougharty of San Francisco, CA; pawpaw to Joshua (Jennifer) Dougharty, Lee (Laine West) Dougharty, Shane Buxton; great grandpaw to Leah and Slade Dougharty.

Brother to Velma Baier of Kenai AK, Durwood (Brenda), Troy (Darlene), Danny (Shiela) Dougharty all of DeQuincy, LA.

Brother-In-Law to Robert (Brenda), Charles (Phyllis), Gary Turnage, Kathryn McClendon all of the Beaumont area, along with many other relatives and friends.

A Homegoing service will be held Sunday March 4, at 2:00P.M. at The First Apostolic Church of DeQuincy with interment to follow at Perkins cemetery in DeQuincy.

The family will be receiving friends Sunday from 11:00 A.M. until time of services at the church.
