Mona Hatch Rash, 61, of Orange, died Monday, March 12, at her home in Mauriceville.

She was born Aug. 23, 1950, to Bessie V. Hatch and Leon Melvin Hatch, in Beaumont, and was a lifelong resident of the area. Mona was employed with Nursefinders as a cardiac care nurse.

Survivors include her son, Timothy Raffield and his wife, Danielle of Katy; grandchildren, Colin Raffield, Caitlin Raffield, and Hope Raffield; twin sister, Mary Folsom and her husband, James of Vinton; nieces, Mary Griffin and Monica Elliott; great nephews, Joshua Hentrich, Casey Bingham, Jesse Bingham, Dylan Miller, and Benjamin Thomas Elliott; numerous other loving family members; her cat, Madison; and her dog, CoCo.

Mona is preceded in death by her parents, Bessie and Richard Hatch; and daughter, Jenna Raffield.

A gathering of her family and friends will begin 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 16, at Broussard's Crematorium, 5150 Stivers Drive, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
