Margaret Ann “Peggy” Raymer, 57, of West Orange, passed away Friday, March 16, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont after an illness.

A Memorial Service to honor her life will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 21, at the Victory Life Church, 7708 Highway 87 North in Orange. Officiating will be Felix Hudnall and Stephen Hudnall.

The family wishes to invite friends of Peggy to the home of Peggy’s brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Cindy Hudnall for lunch following the service at 3292 South Teal Road in Orange.

Peggy was born on Jan. 15, 1955 in Orange, to her parents, Vernon Arnold Hudnall, Sr. and Margaret Marie (Boudreaux) Hudnall, Peggy was a lifelong resident of Orange, she graduated from West Orange High School, she was a member of Victory Life Church and she worked as a hairdresser at Big Mike’s Barber Shop and also at Looking Good Salon in Orange. Peggy was very devoted to her family, she had a great sense of humor, she enjoyed laughter and will be remembered by her family as a prankster.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Lewis Joseph “Joe” Hudnall and her mother-in-law, Mary Jeanette Raymer.

Those who will most cherish her memory are her husband, James Ray Raymer, Sr. of West Orange; her daughters, Adreane Hudnall and her boyfriend, Aaron Thompson of Orange and Mary Raymer and her husband, Michael Hoffpauir of West Orange; her sons, James Ray Raymer, Jr. and Jason Raymer both of Orange; her sisters, Francine Coates and husband, Bill of Zavalla and Joyce Blanchette and husband, Lloyd of Orange; her brothers, Vernon Hudnall, Jr., Keith Hudnall and wife, Kathy, Felix Hudnall and wife, Evelyn, Eric Hudnall and wife, Cindy and Mark Hudnall and wife, Anne all of Orange; six grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends who will love and miss her dearly.

Peggy’s family wishes to extend the dearest of thanks to the Staff of Harbor Hospice in Beaumont for the loving care Peggy received in her final days of her earthly journey.
