Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD’s Assistant Superintendent Greg Perry was recently recognized by Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) as a 2012 Nominee for the annual “Commitment to Excellence Award.”

All nominees are evaluated according to their contributions to the Association and to their profession, regardless of the size of their districts or their positions within the districts.

“Mr. Perry personifies character and integrity and consistently demonstrates his commitment to excellence in every aspect of his responsibilities and roles, whether they be for the District or his professional organization. This distinguished recognition is well deserved, and I am elated that he has received it,” stated Superintendent Dr. Pauline Hargrove.

Under Perry’s business leadership, LCMCISD has received the prestigious Gold Circle Leadership Award each year since the State Comptroller’s Office instituted the award. According to their website, it is given to local governments across Texas that are striving to meet a high standard for financial transparency online. The site states, “We are spotlighting those local governments that are: opening their books to the public, providing clear, consistent pictures of spending, and sharing information in a user-friendly format that lets taxpayers easily drill down for more information.”
