Bridge City Mayor Kirk Roccaforte gives Shari Lyon, events chairperson for Relay for Life, a proclamation at their regular meeting Tuesday night. This is the 13th year for Relay for Life in Orange County.

The organization raised over $1 million in Orange County this year. Relay for Life starts on Friday night at Larry Ward Stadium at Bridge City High School. Lyon said the stadium has been the best facility since the event started.
