Ralph Graham Sims, 83, of Orange passed away on Sunday, June 3, at Pinehurst Nursing Home. He was a native of Center; born on Feb. 14, 1929 to the late Beulah (Sherrod) and Obie Sims. He had lived in the Orange area for 50 plus years and retired from Livingston Shipyard as a ship fitter after 22 years employment.He enjoyed the outdoors; going fishing and working in his garden. He was of the Baptist Faith and his great joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

His death was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sims, wife, Jewel (Morgan) Sims.

He is survived by his daughter, Teri Stark and husband, Carey of Little Cypress; sister, Martha Latimer of Texas City, grandsons, Casey Stark and wife, Leah of Little Cypress, Keith Stark and wife, Paige of Little Cypress, and two great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 4, at 11:00 am at Dorman Funeral Home, with a gathering of family and friends from 10:00 am until service time. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Dale Lee, pastor at Cowboy Church. Burial will follow at Wilkinson Cemetery in Orange.

Pallbearers will be Carey Stark, Casey Stark, Keith Stark, JC LaRoue, Tom Stephenson and Danny Collier.
