Steve “Snake” Cady, 56, left this world unexpectedly from a heart attack on June 7.

A short memorial service will be held at Carnes Funeral Home, 1102 Indiana Street, South Houston on Friday, June 29, at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life Service in Vidor will be set for a later date.

Steve served his country in the US Air Force and was a career bricklayer out of Local 5 Texas, for over 28 years.

Steve is survived by his wife, Barbara of Vidor; son Chris Cady and wife, Amanda of Kountze; two daughters Stephanie and Tiffany Cady of Geydon LA.; stepchildren, Tracie and Ron Davis of Vidor; sister, Pat Gentry of Tennessee; and two brothers Chester and Joe Cady of Vidor; also numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him and will miss him.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Joann Cady and sister Carolyn.
