Sister Pauline Marie Woodson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, to all that knew her. On Tuesday June 19, she departed her earthly home to join her heavenly home. She was born Nov. 12, 1960 to the late Mr. Russell M. Jones and Ms. Rodice Williams in Jeanerette, La. She later moved to Orange.

Sister Pauline accepted Christ into her life at an early age, she later a member of the Sixth Street Community Church of God in Christ, where the Late Supt. Earl V. Thomas Sr. became her pastor.

Pauline was known for her sense of style, great cooking, kind heartiness, generosity, fun loving spirit and had a way with all kids.

Funeral services will be held Saturday June 30, at 1:00pm at Sixth Street Community Church of God in Christ, the Rev. Anthony Thomas, Pastor.

Visitation will be Saturday at the Church from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Burial will be following in Hollywood Cemetery under the direction of Geter Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish seven children, Connie J. Woodson of Orange, Melissa (Jean) Marenah of Georgia, Michelle A. Geral, Eric D. Geral, Craig and Greg Geral and Michael Geral Jr., all of Orange; 12 grandkids, Daniel, Horacina, Kyla, Bre’shona, and Anna; three sisters, Sharon (Chris) Gyasi of Orange, Georgianna (Junius) George, of Jeanerette, and JoAnn (Terrance) Charles of Broussard, LA; one brother, Macklin Reed of Jeanerette; one aunt, Lillian Reed, and a host of nieces and nephews.
