Randy Lee “Guru” Eades, 54, of Orange passed away on June 27. A memorial service will be held on July 3 at the West Orange Community Center at 3:00 pm. Born Aug. 18, 1957, he was a lifelong resident of the area.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Jimmie Lee Eades, Jr. and Myrna Laverne (Keller) Eades; and also his wife, Linda Eades.

He is survived by his daughter, Samantha (Eades) Lawrence and son-in-law Jay Lawrence of Buna; grandchildren Dair and Brenden Lawrence; brother Scottie W. Eades of Katy; numerous cousins; and loving aunt, Billie (Eades) Blagburn.

He was an accomplished artist, musician, and cook. He loved riding motorcycles, and spending time with his grandchildren and friends.
