Monday morning at about 9:34, Officer Christopher Cowart was dispatched to the 800 block of W. Park in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officer Cowart made contact with both parties of the disturbance.

One of the parties involved was identified as 43 year old Angela Gilmore, of Vidor. The other involved party was identified as Calvin Williams, 54, of Orange.

Williams told police that Gilmore was intoxicated and was damaging the contents of his home after she was told to leave the property from staying the night before. In the process of trying to have Gilmore leave the home, she would not comply with the lawful orders given to her to stop cursing at Williams.

Neighbors were beginning to come outside their homes to see what the noise was. Gilmore continued to use profanity and call Williams names after numerous warnings to stop. Gilmore was eventually placed under arrest for disorderly conduct (language), and transported to Baptist Hospital for a wound on her foot.

After she was cleared and released from the hospital, Gilmore was transported to the Orange County Jail and released to jail staff.
