Today, Sen. Robert Nichols (R-Jacksonville) toured the Orange County Airport and met with members of the airport advisory council.

“Airports are a vital component for economic development,” said Nichols. “The ability to fly and travel, makes this area more attractive for business.”

As a pilot, former transportation commissioner, and member of the Senate Transportation and Homeland Security Committee, Nichols appreciates the importance of the Orange County Airport.

“I came today to tour the airport, meet with the advisory council, and the airport operators to learn how I can help the airport and support future plans,” said Nichols.
