Louise Elizabeth Bass Cagle

Louise Elizabeth Bass Cagle, 85, of Orange passed away Sunday, Sept. 16, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Calvary Baptist Church in Orange with the Rev. David Millner officiating. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Prentiss, MS. on April 15, 1927, Louise was the daughter of Eugene and Ida (McNease) Bass. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a sales representative of home products, a faithful homemaker and cook.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Charles Cagle, Sr.; and two brothers and two sisters.

Louise is survived by her sons, Charles Cagle, Jr. and wife Judy, James H. Cagle; and grandson, James "Jay" Cagle and wife, Renee. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cara Elizabeth Cagle Naizer and husband, Ronnie of Clyde, Texas, Angela Cagle McGee and husband, John of Orange, Savannah Cagle, Mason Cagle all of Orange, Jennifer Cagle Lemon and Jennings Cagle both of Martin, TN; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruby Williams of Prentiss, Mississippi.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Charles Cagle, Jr., James H. Cagle, James “Jay” Cagle, Mason Cagle, Kevin McGee and Kyle McGee.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 5856, Orange, Texas 77631.
