Patricia Ann “Annie” Chambliss, 77, of Vidor, died Friday, Oct. 5, in Beaumont. She was born on March 13, 1935, in Jackson, MS., to Mildred Newman and Charles Allen Powe. She was a retired secretary.

Annie collected caps and owls, was a Webelow Scout Leader and created beautiful pieces of latch work.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Scottie Chambliss; sons, James Chambliss of Vidor and Terry Chambliss of Houston; sister, Gaye Platt of Houston; grandchildren, Mable Chambliss, Terry Chambliss, Christine Romero, Vyazma Todd, and Alexander Chambliss; and six great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Oct. 8, at St. Michael Orthodox Christian Church, 680 N. 15th Street, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
