Reward offered for bank robbery suspect

Officers of the West Orange Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at the Firestone Credit Union, located on MacArthur Drive in West Orange, on Sept. 6.

Upon arrival at the scene, it was discovered that an unknown white male had entered the business brandishing a shotgun with pistol grips, demanding money from the tellers. The male was described as being about 6 foot tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. The suspect was wearing dark colored overalls, a maroon ski mask covering his face and head, sunglasses and gloves on his hands. After getting an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect left the business and was last seen running behind Aaron’s Rent to Own on Macarthur Drive running west.

A reward is being offered by the Firestone Community Federal Credit Union in the amount of $5,000 for the arrest or Grand Jury indictment for the person or persons responsible for this robbery.
