Ernest Bo Whitehead, 58, of Bridge City, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 17, 2012. Bo was born on Sept. 28, 1954 in Houston, to Clyde and Myrtle (Cauthron) Whitehead. Bo worked as a welder in the petrochemical industry and has lived in Bridge City area for the last six years.

Some of his hobbies were watching football, fishing, sitting out by the fire pit, eating chocolate ice cream and Doritos and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Bo was a very easy going and laid back man who loved his family very much especially his nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Myrtle Whitehead; brother, Dewey Dale Whitehead and brother, Obie Lee Pitman.

Bo is survived by his brother, Clyde Allen Whitehead Jr. and wife Pennie; brother, James Whitehead and wife Qing Xu; sister, Jeanette McKinley Whitehead and husband John; sister, Melissa Whitehead Carpenter; brother, Millard Lynn Whitehead and wife Elizabeth; brother, Vernon Ray Whitehead Jr. and wife Sharon; sister, Nellie Whitehead Krizak and husband Kevin.

Other survivors are nieces and nephews, C.J., Thomas, Missy, Tommy, Frank, Jay, Sam Jr., Sheena, James, Vernon, Sheree, James Jr., Millard, Catherine, Richard, Kristin, Laura, John, Kari, Christopher, Michael and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 22, at Sterling-White Funeral Home with Burial following at Sterling-White Cemetery.
