James "Jimmy" William Hale

James "Jimmy" William Hale was born Sept. 5, 1953, and passed away Oct. 19, at 59 years of age. He lived in the Orange area most of his life, and had been living in Kirbyville recently.

Memorial services will take place from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, Saturday, Oct. 27, in Orangefield, at the New Life Assembly Of God Church, located at 7375 Highway 105 (aprox.1/4 mile west of Hwy. 62 on FM 105).

He was the son of Alice & Bill Hymes of Orange. His brothers are, Don Hale, and wife Mary, and Bob Hymes, all of Orange.

Jimmy worked at Levingston Shipbuilding for approximately five years, from 1969 until 1974. He then went to Georgetown Steel, in Vidor, for 19 years. He then worked in various steel mills in Indiana and Colorado, where he fell in love with the mountains and scenic countryside. He retired in 2010.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Hale of Kirbyville, father and stepmother James W. and Freida Hale of Katy; daughter and son in law, Kim and Rudy Olivarez of Houston; and Billy and Jenafer Hale of Orange.
