Habitat for Humanity home burglarized

Wednesday morning at about 8:05, Officer Tim Pruitt was dispatched to #10 Carpenter Place in reference to burglary of a residence. Upon arrival, Officer Pruitt made contact with one of the builders of the project. The employee, who is employed as a carpenter for the Greater Orange Area Habitat for Humanity told police that the nearly finished residence was last checked on Monday at about noon.

Just before calling the police Wednesday morning, he arrived back at the residence to find it had been burglarized. The employee reported that copper tubing, was missing and one of the exterior doors had been damaged.
