Last updated 10/29/2012 at Noon

For the seventh year, the LCM Honey Bears will hold the popular Bulls and Barrels, bull riding and barrel-racing event. The show is open to anyone that wants to ride a bull or run around the barrel pattern. In addition to these two major events, a mutton busting (sheep riding) and calf scramble are scheduled for the younger cowboys and cowgirls. Rodeo contestants who wish to enter should call (409) 698-6168.

The rodeo is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 10, in the Orange County Cowboy Church arena, at 673 FM 1078. The gate will open at 6:00 p.m. and events begin at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $5, and children two and under are free. Concessions will be sold.

The Bulls and Barrels Rodeo is a fundraiser for the Honey Bears and the funds go toward uniforms, props, a Christmas dance, trips and other needs of the drill team throughout the year. The public is invited to this family-oriented event.

The stock provider is 3M Rodeo and additional information is available by contacting Melissa Lisle at 746-7181 or [email protected]. Rodeo contestants who wish to enter should call 698-6168.
