Bridge City firefighters were called at 2:12 p.m Friday to a house fire at 275 Warner Street.

They remained on the scene for more than three hours to battle the blaze which is believed to have started in the back of the house near the back porch area.

Nobody was at the residence when the fire started and no injuries were reported. The house is said to be a total loss due to fire and water damages.

According to Fire Chief, Brent Morris, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
