Curtis B. “Curt” Collins, Jr., 55, of Bridge City passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14. He was born in Port Arthur on Oct. 19, 1957 to Curtis B. Collins, Sr. and Frances Collins. He was a resident of Port Arthur before making his home in Bridge City, and a 1976 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School.

Curt enjoyed being with family and friends and loved to pick up the guitar and strum a tune. He was employed as plant manager for Knife River MDU Resources. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with the Rev. Jerry D. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

A visitation for family and friends will be Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Curtis was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Sanford Collins and son, Curtis B. Collins, III.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Parsley Collins of Bridge City, father, Curtis B. Collins, Sr. and wife, Maxine of Silsbee, mother-in-law, Mary Parsley of Port Arthur, two sons, Chase B. Collins and wife, Jessica, and Clayton B. Collins, all of Bridge City, sister, Lee Ann Collins of Bridge City, brother, Craig B. Collins of Dallas, step-sister, Kimberly Finch of Silsbee, stepbrothers, Joel Caraway, and James Caraway and wife, Stephanie, of Silsbee, grandchildren, Kaley Collins, Colby B. Collins, Cameron B. Collins, and Adilynn Joy Collins, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins all who loved him very much.
