Stan Horton, Sr., 51, of Bridge City passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at The Hampton Hospital in Houston. He was the son of Glen Earl Horton, Sr., and Diane Abshire, and was born on Sept. 2, 1961 in Port Arthur.

He was a life-long area resident, and proudly served his country in the U. S. Marine Corp. Stan was employed as a truck driver.

He is survived by his mother, Diane Sonnier of Port Arthur; father, Glen Horton and wife Sherry of Beaumont; daughters, Shandalyn Horton of Colmesneil and Nikki Horton of Orange; sons, Beau Horton of Colmesneil, Stan Horton, Jr., of Indiana and Trent Horton of Kirbyville; sisters, Cody Ingram of Broussard, La., and Sophia Ranolls of Bridge City; brothers Tim Horton Savoy of Garland, Arnold Horton of Houston and Glen Horton, Jr., of Vidor.

Stan is also survived by grandchildren; Jaydalyn Caddy, Evin Horton, Jaci Jackson, Alexis Horton, Braylon Marks and Chance Marks.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Melancon's Funeral Home 1605 Avenue H in Nederland. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, Nov. 16, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Details and guest registry available at Melancons.org.
