Jack Hart Wilson, 80, of Hartburg, died Dec. 4, at Baptist Hospital in Orange. Jack was born March 21, 1932 in Leesville, La., to Jessie and Pearl Wilson. He graduated from South Park High School in 1950. Jack was a retired electrician out of IBEW #479 in Beaumont.

He never met a stranger. If he had a hobby it was socializing through the people he met everyday. Jack always had a smile for them, a joke and a piece of bubble gum. Jack married Shirley Ann Hill June 4, 1955. He was a member of Deweyville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; daughters, Carol Ward and husband Ray, Laura Lemmond and husband Dean; grandchildren, Jackie Rathgeber and husband Paul, Christi Maddox and husband Heath; great- grandchildren, Jack and Charlie Rathgeber, Trevor and Kobe Maddox and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, December 6, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mr. Jack H. Wilson will be held Friday, Dec. 7, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
