Orange man arrested on outstanding warrants
An Orange man was arrested Sunday afternoon on outstanding warrants when police were dispatched to McDonald’s on Hwy. 62, in reference to a possible intoxicated driver. Upon arrival, Officer Michael Roush made contact with the driver of a Dodge Durango that was parked in the front driveway of the business.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Heather Stutes, and the passenger, as Charles Ernest Brandon, 31, of Orange. Officer Roush checked through dispatch for outstanding warrants, and was advised that both held outstanding warrants.
Stutes was not taken into custody due to medical reasons, however Brandon was arrested on six outstanding warrants, totaling over $2,000.
Brandon was transported to the Orange County Jail, while Stutes was advised to park her vehicle. Officers provided Stutes with a ride home, and advised her of the outstanding warrants.
