Charles Arnold McNeely, Sr., 77, of Vidor died Monday, Dec. 17, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Charles was a native of Rose City, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Charles retired from Gulf States Utilities after 40 years as an Engineer. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Vidor and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Charles served his country in the US Army Paratroopers during the Korean War.

Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.

Charles is survived by his son Chuck McNeely of Vidor; daughter Deanna Bradford of Coppell, TX., 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
