Juanita E. Goodman, age 88 of Burnet, passed away on Dec. 15. She was born on May 4, 1924 in Beaumont, the daughter of Jim and Maudie Fisher. She was a housewife most of her life. She and her husband Glen were married for over 60, years she will be greatly missed. She had such a gentle loving heart. A very dedicated mother and wife; member of the eastern star, and she loved to travel. A special thanks to all at the nursing home and all the helped with her care.

She is survived by her four sisters Doris Olson of Lumberton, Velma Kelley of Bonwell, Tx., Marlene Parker, and Darlene Clements both of Vidor; daughter and son-in-law Joy and James Ivy of Burnet; daughter in-law Sherlyn Goodman of Beaumont; son and daughter in-law Jim and Glinda of Woodville.

Also surviving are a great-great grandchild, Liam Hodges; great grandchildren Hayden Rice and Williiam and John Parker, Colby Goodman, Meagan Parker, Emma Rice, Tristen Goodman, Misty Goodman, Josh McCain, Leslie, Nate and Seirra Hodges

Other survivors are grandchildren, Cherie Rice Hodges, Tobie Parker, Nathan and Alex Goodman Jimmy and Misty Goodman, and several nieces and nephews of Lake Charles, and California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Glen R. Goodman; son Glen Ray Goodman, and great grandchild Joshua Edward Rice

Services will be Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the Magnolia Cemetery Mausoleum at 2:00 p.m. in Beaumont. Officiating will be the Rev. Ralph Thompson. Arrangements by Clements- Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet.
