Thelma Marie Lee Smith, 91, of Orange, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22. Born on Feb. 1, 1921 in Lufkin. She lived in Orange for the last 40 years, had previously lived in Beaumont, and she co-owned Smith Lock and Key in Orange with her husband. Thelma will be remembered as a kind lady who helped many people.

Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, James Elton Smith, and she is survived by her niece, Maryann Moore of Pearland.

Services to honor her life will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, Dec. 27, in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange. Interment will follow services at Evergreen Cemetery in Orange.
