Joan E. Burgin, 77, of Vidor died Sunday, Dec. 23, at her residence. A native of Port Arthur, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Joan was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, Dec. 29, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friend will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, Dec. 28, at Memorial Funeral Home.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband Charles Burgin.

She is survived by her sons Ricky Bertrand of Little Cypress, John Burgin of Vidor, and Randy Bertrand of Nederland; daughter Lisa Manning of Kirbyville; brother Donald Hamilton of Port Arthur, nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
