Sunday, Jan. 6, Orange police were dispatched to the lobby of the OPD in reference to an aggravated assault. Upon arrival, officers met with a 14 year old female and her mother. The victim told police that she was at the Spinnin’ Wheels skating facility in the 6800 block of N. Hwy. 87, when her ex-boyfriend pulled a pocket knife on her during a verbal altercation.

The victim stated that the suspect tried to stab her in the stomach, but she managed to avoid injury. Both the victim and her mother stated they would like to pursue charges
