Kenneth H. Clingaman passed away, Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Greenfield Assisted Living Facility in Woodstock, VA., with his family by his side, at the age of 91. He was born on Feb. 2, 1921, in Denver, IN, to the late Samuel and Bessie (Whitney) Clingaman. Kenneth married Cleo M. Egolf on May 6, 1944; she predeceased him on March 19, 1993. His second wife, Joyce Clingaman, predeceased him on Jan. 31, 2005. Kenneth served in the United States Navy and later became a salesman.

Surviving are two children, Jackie (Lyle) Holmes of Mount Jackson, VA., and Jon K. Clingaman, Sr. of Orange; two daughters-in-law, Jeannie Ross-Clingaman and Michelle Clingaman; eight grandchildren; Lyle (Stacey) Holmes III; Christiana Collins; Stanley Holmes; Jon K. (Gayle) Clingaman, Jr .; Jeffrey K. Clingaman; Blake L. Clingaman; Corey McMullen; and Trey McMullen.

Also surviving are 10 great-grandchildren; SPC Steven Holmes; Elizabeth Blankenship; Kade Holmes; Landon Holmes; Devan Holmes; Corey Iglesias; Jesse Iglesias; Courtney Iglesias; Piper Ashworth; and Miller Ashworth; one great-great-grandchild; Kyleigh Grace Hayzlett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by three brothers, Leon (Lavonne); Russell (Marion); and Wendell (Maxine) Clingaman; two sisters, Lois (Don) Click and Garnett (Jack) Dock.

A gathering of Mr. Clingaman's family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Monday, Jan. 14, at Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Silsbee.
