Connie Chelette Thompson, 90, of Port Neches, died Thursday, Jan. 17, at The Pointe Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Webster. Connie was born Nov. 20, 1922 in Beauregard Parish, La. to Dirville Loftin and Goldie Mae Vastine Loftin. She retired from Sears Credit Department with 26 years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church in Groves.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, Jan. 20, at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Charles Miller officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and a brother.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Claude Thompson of Orange; daughter, Linda Rose and husband Carl of Port Neches; son, Daniel D. Chelette and wife Tina of Houston; grandchildren, Connie Catranis and husband Ted, Charles Plumhoff and wife Elizabeth, Anthony Chelette, and Christina Chelette.
