A Little Cypress Jr. High School student was arrested Monday. March 4, for assaulting another student, and a teacher. According to a report filed by Officer Joshua Dempsey, the school's principal said that while in the process of assaulting another student, the suspect shoved a teacher into her desk. The students were in a fifth grade science class when the assault took place.

The juvenile was arrested, and held overnight at the Minnie Rogers Detention Center.
