Stephen Clark Steve Williamson, Sr., 63, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, March 6, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. A native of Orange, he was born to Verna Mae Spikes Williamson and Steve A. Williamson on March 20, 1949.

Steve graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as an engineer at Gulf States/Entergy for 23 years. Steve built homes for 10 years before retiring in 2001 to manage his many rental home properties he had accumulated throughout the years. He was an active member of St. Anne Catholic Church for close to 40 years, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, and choir member. Steve helped with the Religious Education for Children Ministry and was involved in the ACTS community.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Debbie Williamson of Beaumont; children, Stephen Clark Williamson, Jr. of Austin, Heather Williamson Tolin and her husband, John, of Round Rock, and Michael Todd Williamson and his wife, Erin, of Beaumont; and grandchildren, Miles, Evie, and Benedict Tolin.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Deana Gratke.

A Rosary for Mr. Williamson will be recited at 5:00 p.m., with a gathering of his family and friends to follow until 7:30 pm., Friday, March 8, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9,  at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2715 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
