Science becomes fun at St. Mary

Science is fun at St. Mary Catholic School. Scientists visit the campus and show off some of their magic. George Russell from Invista recently visited Middle School science classes of Mrs. Daphne McIntire. Russell placed a bouncy ball in liquid nitrogen and bounced it for sixth graders; the ball shattered. The students were also instructed and shown how to make their own slime.

Pictured is Russell in front, and bottom to top: Geordan Grant, Megan Do, Joanna Henry, Taylor Watson, Jade Clark, Nicholas Wilson and Krystal Lester. Next row Shelby Smith and Elizabeth Doan, Joshua Erb, Brayden Van Tassel and Thomas Nguyen.
