At approximately 3:45 pm Saturday, there was a one vehicle crash on Interstate 10 at the 867 mile marker in Orange county.

According to trooper Stephanie Davis with the DPS, A 1999 Ford Explorer was traveling eastbound on IH-10. The driver of the vehicle left the roadway for an unknown reason and the vehicle overturned. The driver was a 20 year old white female, who was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:53 pm by Judge Menard. Her identification is not being released until she is positively identified and next of kin notifications are made by State Troopers.

The passengers in the vehicle received minor injuries and are all listed in stable condition at St. Elizabeth hospital. Names and ages are not being released at this time.

The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate this fatal crash and will release information as it becomes available.
