Louisiana State Police say a man from Orange was killed Thursday afternoon in a one car crash near Jennings, La.

Joseph A, Cotton, 41, was driving a Ford Expedition north on Hwy. 26, when he exited the left side of the road in a curve, went airborne and then rolled over several times. The vehicle caught fire.

Police say Cotton was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and was ejected from the vehicle. Speed is suspected to be a factor in the accident.

Police are awaiting toxicology results, and the crash is under investigation.
