Helen M. Hobbs, age 73, died Sunday, April 28, in Beaumont. Graveside services will at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 3, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 2, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Helen was born in Nevada, Mo., on Nov. 29, 1939. She retired from Petro as a restaurant manager. She was a retired member of the Tunica Social Club.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Truman Hobbs and a son Truman Allen Hobbsl; and her parents Ralph and Pauline Shouse.

Survivors include her son, Terry Hobbs I of Beaumont; daughter, Debbie Henderson, and her husband Paul, of Vidor; brother Wayne Shouse, and his wife, Donna of Jones, OK .; six grandchildren, Larry Paul Henderson, John Allen Hobbs, Tammy Hobbs, Michael Henderson, Terry Hobbs II and Tiffany Hobbs, and 10 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the family would prefer pot plants.
