Cynthia Kay Bolser, 49, of Orange passed away on Friday, May 17, at Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. She was a native of Orange; born September 26, 1963 to parents Lela Ann Arnold and Nathan McCarver Jr. She had lived in Ohio, and last few years back in Orange. She was a school bus driver for many years.

Cynthia enjoyed doing puzzles, going fishing, camping, the beach; anything to spend time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly.

She is preceded in death by her biological father; Nathan McCarver; mother, Lela Ann Taylor; husband, Floyd Bolser, Jr., and sister, Carol Ellen McCarver.

She is survived by her daughter, Leann Bolser of Bridge City; son, David Bolser and wife, Dora Cortez of Texas City; father, Thomas Reid Taylor of Keller; sisters, Cathy Kovatch and husband John of Conroe, Connie McCarver and husband, Chris Peveto of Mauriceville, Theresa Culverhouse of Bridge City, Mary Jane McCarver and husband, Kevin Pikor of Bridge City, Crystal Welch and husband, Charles “Scooter” of Mauriceville, Mindy Watson and husband, Jason of Vidor; brothers, James Lee Taylor and wife, Kathy of Sherman, Bobby Lee Scott and wife, Belinda of Mauriceville; grandchildren, Russell Shackelford, David Elijah Bolser, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 20, at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park.

Honoring Cynthia as pallbearers will be David Bolser, John Kovatch, Chris Peveto, Charles Welch, James Taylor and Bobby Scott. Honorary pallbearer is Jason Watson.
