Hae Dong Murdock, 77, of Vidor died Sunday, May 19, at her residence. A native of Pochon, South Korea, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Hae Dong was a homemaker and a member of Faith Chapel Church in Vidor.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, May 23, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, May 22, at Memorial Funeral Home.

Hae Dong is preceded in death by her three brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Murdock; sons Wesley Ray Murdock and his wife Sonia, of Vidor, Edward James Murdock and his wife Amy, of Orange; brother Yun Dong So, and grandchildren Whitney, Samantha, Mackenzie, Madison and Melanie Murdock.
