Mary Lou Beeson of Bulverde, TX., formerly of Warren, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, May 24, at the age of 84. She was born May 17, 1929, in Warren, to Emanuel and Vevie McDonald Allison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gorman "Jiggs" Beeson; son, Gorman Daryl Beeson; brother Eddie Powers Allison; and sister, Minta Allison Freeman.

Mary Lou graduated from Warren High School in Warren, and from Lamar University in Beaumont with a Licensed Vocational Nursing degree. She worked many years for Baptist Hospital in addition to traveling to several countries around the world with her husband and sons. She was a devoted and dedicated member of the Canyon Lake Church of Christ. To anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Mary Lou they knew her as a dedicated mother, wife, grandmother, and friend.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, at Allison Cemetery in Warren, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, at Memorial Funeral Home.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory a brother, A.L. Allison and wife Ora Lee of Vidor; two sons-George K. Beeson and wife Cindy of Bulverde; and Douglas E. Beeson of Dripping Springs, TX; six grandchildren-Kenneth A. Beeson and wife Sherry of Georgetown, TX; Stephanie West and husband Ronnie of Silsbee; Michael Beeson and wife Roxanne; Shawn Beeson, all of of Dripping Springs; Mark Beeson and wife Tanya of Canyon Lake; and Kimberly Stills of Austin.

Other survivors include great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Jessica, Taylor, Gorman, Brennan, Luke, and Dakota; great-great grandchildren, Karson and Kaiden,, and numerous nieces, and nephews.
