The Pinehurst Police Department responded to the following calls between May 20 and May 27:

May 20:

Officers responded to the 3500 block of Raven Street in reference to a disturbance. A white female was issued a criminal trespass warning and made to leave the residence.

Officers responded to a car rental company on MLK Jr. Drive in reference to a disturbance. Two white males engaged in a physical altercation within the business. The disturbance was settled by separation. No charges were filed.

May 21:

A case of identity theft was reported to the Pinehurst Police Department.

Burglary was reported at a vacant residence on Enchanted Oaks Drive.

Warrant service was conducted at a mobile home park in the 3800 block of Pheasant Drive. Caitlyn F. Wayman, a 19 year old white female was placed under arrest for a warrant issued by the West Orange Municipal Court.

A traffic accident was reported in the 1500 block of Strickland Drive.

May 22:

Following a suspicious persons investigation at a car wash on Strickland Drive, a white female identified as Tommie Vercher, 25, was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued by a Jefferson County Court.

May 23:

Officers arrested a white male in the 2400 block of MLK Jr. Drive for a felony probation violation warrant. Robert Lane Primm, 41, was transported to the Orange County Jail for booking.

A white male, identified as Michael Ray Mowery, 56, was arrested in the 800 block of Dal Sasso Drive for an outstanding parole violation warrant. He was transported to the Orange County Jail for booking.

May 25:

Theft was reported at a fast food restaurant in the 200 block of Strickland Drive. The manager reported that a former employee may have removed money from the business without consent.

May 26:

A white male was arrested for an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Strickland Drive. Michael Anthony Moore, 29, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the jail for booking.

May 27:

A theft was reported at an apartment complex in the 3000 block of Macarthur Drive. A Samsung Galaxy tablet valued at $200, and $41 in U.S. Currency was reported stolen. The suspect is an acquaintance of the complainant.

A counterfeit bill was received by a clerk at a retail store in the 100 block of Strickland Drive. The bill was collected by police and placed into evidence. It will be forwarded to the U.S. Secret Service.
