Millie Smith Williams, 81, of Vidor died Friday, June 7, at her residence. A native of San Augustine, she was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Millie was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Vidor.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 10, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Sunday, June 9, at Memorial Funeral Home.

Millie was preceded in by her first husband Odus Smith; second husband Charles Williams; son Gerald "Bubba" Smith, and son-in-law Leroy Barrera.

She is survived by her son Ronald Dewayne Smith and his wife Faith of Vidor; daughters Donna Barrera of Fort Worth, Freida Shinn and her husband Ricky of Canton, GA, Sissy Brister and her husband Mike of West Columbia, TX; brother Boots DuBose of Gary, TX; Elizabeth Reneau of Lufkin; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
