Monday, June 10, Orange police were dispatched to 1925 Barkins in reference to a disturbance, and a report of a gunshot. Upon arrival at about 9:57 pm, officers observed a crowd of people who had gathered along the street inside Craig Homes.

Two people, Altonika Wallace, and Erik McNeil, both of Orange, said they had both been involved in an argument at 1925 Barkins, and a gunshot was fired.

Police went to the residence and heard varying accounts from several other people who were present at the disturbance. The disturbance was settled by police returning to the residence and retrieving articles needed to care for Wallace’s baby.
