Former Orange police officer arrested for possession

Wednesday, June 12, Orange Police conducted an internal investigation based upon a complaint from a citizen. The complaint was against Taylor Scott Saleme, accusing him of stealing prescription medication. During the investigation, Officer Saleme resigned from the police department.

Tuesday, June 25, police obtained an arrest warrant for Saleme for the offense of possession of a controlled substance, (hydrocodone), which is a class A misdemeanor. Saleme was arrested, and booked into the Orange County Jail.

Orange County DA investigator K.C. Brashears assisted in the investigation.
