James Ned Joseph “Pappy“ Comeaux, Sr.
James Ned Joseph “Pappy“ Comeaux, Sr., 64, of Orange, passed away Monday, June 24, at his residence. Born on Dec. 11, 1948 in New Iberia, LA. to his parents, Robert Comeaux and Evola (Gary) Comeaux, he lived in Orange for the past 30 years and had previously lived in New Iberia.
Ned worked as a truck driver all of his life, but recently decided he wanted to spend more time at home with family. His place of employment at his time of passing was Little Cypress Mauriceville CISD Transportation Department as mechanic and sub driver, where he fit right in with the guys in the shop who called him “Pappy” as well.
Ned was also a veteran of the U. S. Army Reserve. Ned was of the Catholic faith, he was an avid L.S.U. and New Orleans Saints fan. He was a very giving and generous person often putting others before himself. Above anything in life, Ned enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grand kids.
