Bridge City Little League Major Girls softball team defeated Channelview 10-0 on Friday night to become the Texas East Sect. 2 Champions. They went undefeated in sectional play and will now advance to the State tournament to be held July 19-22 in Seguin. Team members are: Caitlin Denison, Jacelynn Price, Kristin Broussard, Abby Anderson, Peyton Trapp, Aleah McClanahan, Megan Ibeck, Rylee Oceguera, Karlye Bramblett and Natilee Reed. Coaches: Jody Anderson, Rachel Oceguera, and Tim Trapp.
